26 October, 2018: Should you ever find yourself needing to pay some minimum wage arrears to your PA, you need to understand how to calculate them and what should happen with tax, National Insurance and related matters such as pensions.

Received an automated message saying HMRC have taken out a warrant for your arrest? This is a scam.

25 October, 2018: We have become aware of a telephone scam, purporting to be from the police telling the listener that HMRC have taken out a warrant for their arrest. The message then gives a warrant number and requests the listener to contact HMRC. Do not respond!

18 October, 2018: HMRC have issued the latest Employer Bulletin – ‘Your route to the latest in payroll news'. In general, these bulletins contain lots of useful information to help employers meet their payroll obligations, such as updates on forthcoming changes to the rules and guidance in dealing with particular payroll issues.
